Expressing Emotions: Happiness

Happiness is probably the best positive emotion that humans need, but it can also appear to be the most elusive. Many people seek happiness in achieving great things, but it’s much more effective if you find happiness if every little thing you do. That’s how you create your own happiness. I have given examples below, which describe happiness, but it's in your capabilities to decide to use the example that best fits your scene.

  1. Her nose and eyes crinkled

  2. She was humming/singing/dancing/spinning/hugging, etc

  3. You find yourself more attractive

  4. She pushed her concerns away and enjoyed the moment

  5. She walked without a care in the world

  6. She felt at ease with thankfulness/gratitude

  7. Her eyes were instilled with inspiration/satisfaction/jubilance

  8. You forget all the pain (briefly)

  9. She looked pleased

  10. A smile playing at his lips

  11. Butterflies in the stomach

  12. Steps have a bounce to them

  13. A grin etched on her face

  14. A loose grin played in his stubble

  15. She grinned from ear to ear

  16. Her smile showed every single tooth

  17. Lightly punching in others chest/stomach

  18. She was sitting with him, all smiles and admiration.

  19. Gave a hint at a smile

  20. A smile appeared on my lips.

  21. His chuckle was infectious and I couldn’t help but giggle too

  22. He was ecstatic over

  23. Was over the moon

  24. Jumping/leaping with joy

  25. Clapping/whistling merrily or with joy

  26. Head was dizzy with delight/from laughing/prolonged excitement

  27. Elated to

  28. He was In high spirits

  29. She was full of joys of spring

  30. Actively expressing gratefulness/thankfulness
